Hi,
It sounds like you might have different versions of atlas in your two apps? Both should be generating the second request, and if you look inside the script of the page returned in your browser, you should see something similar to the .path =http://localhost/Evolution.AtlasWebServices/Vehicle.asmx within the onload of the service reference...
Do you perhaps have different Atlas dll's in the bin of your two apps?
